DIY: Honey & olive oil HAIR MASK for dull and dry hair

I wanted to share with you this simple but very efficient way to make your hair look like they're ready for a Schwarzkopf commercial!:)

What will you need:
- olive oil (pretty much any would do, I used virgin olive oil)
- honey
- haircoloring brush
-a towel 

After 40 seconds in the microwave

The right formula is:  1 tablespoon of honey + 3 tablespoons of olive oil

The amount of mixture you need depends on lenght and thickness of your hair - I ended up using 3x more (my hair are waist lenght and very thick).

STEP 1
Mix olive oil and honey together and put the mixture in the microwave for 30-40 seconds. Wait until it cools of a little.

STEP 2
Comb your hair and divide it into 4 parts (or however you find it easier). Apply the mixture with a haircoloring brush.

STEP 3
Wrap your hair with a damp and warm towel

STEP 4
wait for 1-2 hours and then wash off with a shampoo and conditioner like you would normally do.


The results are fantastic. I do this every week and my hair are healthy, shiny and super soft.


 DON'T worry about your hair being sticky! The mixture washess of immediately. 
This is suitable for any type of hair: curly, straight..you name it.
